Use the Company>Banks/Credit Cards screen to map bank feed accounts to bank and credit card accounts after you have registered a client for the Bank Feeds feature. Go to the Company>Bank Add-ons>Bank Feeds screen to register a client by selecting a site supported by the third-party provider, Plaid.
Once you register a client with a site and map the feeds to relevant accounts, you can synchronize feed information in the system at any time using the Banking>Upload E-Statements screen or the Write Up>Transaction Entry screen. Imported transactions appear as cleared on the Banking>Reconciliation screen.
You can also use the Company>Banks/Credit Cards screen to review the last date a bank feed was sychronized and the number of transactions imported at that time.
And, you can click a bank or credit card link on the Company>Banks/Credit Cards screen to move to the Bank and Credit Card Setup screen to edit bank or credit card account information. Or, you can click the add icon from the action bar to add a new account.
To map your registered accounts:
Click the Setup icon on the right-hand side vertical menu and select Company>Bank and Credit Cards to open the Bank/Credit Cards screen.
For each account,
select a Bank Feeds
site
from the drop-down list in the Bank
Feeds Account column to link (i.e., map) the account to the feed.
Note: You must link accounts
to the feeds to enable the account to update with relevant transactions.
If the last four digits
of a registered bank account (a Bank Feeds Account) are the same as
that of a bank account you set up, they are mapped automatically.
All mapped and unmapped bank accounts appear in the Bank Feeds Account drop-down lists. Bank Feeds accounts that you have registered, but have not linked or mapped to an account appear in the table at the bottom of the Banks/Credit Cards screen.
Only unmapped Bank Feeds account appear in the table at the bottom portion of the screen. As you map accounts from the Bank Feeds Account drop-down lists, the unmapped accounts disappear from the bottom table.
If you do not want to map a Bank Feeds account to any account and you do not want to see the account on any list, you can remove it. Select the account from the table in the bottom portion of the screen and click Remove to delete it from the Bank Feeds Account drop-down lists and the from the bottom table.
Note: If you remove the mapping from a previously mapped account, the unmapped account appears in the bottom table.
You can see the number of transactions last imported in the column labeled, Number of Transaction Imported Last Time.
And, you can see when that sync happened in the Last Sync Date column to determine whether it is time to synchronize an account with Bank Feeds again.
