Launch Cloud Cabinet

To make it easier to archive, access, and share documents, the Global Toolbar provides a Launch Cloud Cabinet button that enables you to open Cloud Cabinet, our document storage and sharing application, to upload or download stored documents or send stored documents to clients or other staff members.

Cloud Cabinet subscribers can access the full range of Cloud Cabinet features from the Cloud Cabinet icon or from the Launcher on the right side of the interface.

If you are not a Cloud Cabinet subscriber, you can only access Cloud Cabinet from the icon on the Global Toolbar. In Cloud Cabinet, you can upload images, documents, and reports to the active client's folders, download stored files to your PC, and send files to any email address.

Client-specific folders and subfolders in Cloud Cabinet organize documents, images, and reports uploaded for the client.

Note: For non-subscribers, the system creates the folders necessary to organize stored files. Non-subscribers cannot create new folders in Cloud Cabinet.

To launch and use Cloud Cabinet:

1.  Click the Launch Cloud Cabinet button on the Global Toolbar.

Cloud Cabinet opens in a separate browser window or tab, with the client's folders selected.

2.  Navigate to and click a specific folder to open the folder and review the content, or click a file to open a preview of the selected document.

3.  Right-click a file or folder to select it and access the pop-up menu or Action Bar from which you can access file management options.

Note: The Action Bar is useful on devices that do not support right-clicking, such as tablets or smartphones.

From the pop-up menu or Action Bar, you can:

§        Download a selected file or folder to your PC or device.

§        Send an individual file to any email address you enter in the Send File dialog that appears when you select this option.

§        Cut or Copy and Paste a subfolder, file, or document to another folder.

4.  Select a file or folder and click the Download button to save the file or folder locally on your computer.

The system downloads the selected file, or a zip file containing the contents of the folder, to your hard drive.

5.  Click Upload to open the Upload File dialog, and click Browse to navigate to and select a file to upload to Cloud Cabinet.
