You can set global options for your firm on the Firm Options screen.
From this screen, you can set email and telephone contact information, specify the Cloud Cabinet folders your firm uses for archiving and set options related to auto-archiving, and add or maintain the logo that appears in the header space at the top of the interface.
To set or edit firm options:
Select Firm Options from the Firm Administration menu to open the Firm Options screen.
In the Email Information section, enter the name and title of the email contact for your firm, and the return email address.
The Return Email address is mandatory.
Click Receive Copies of Close Period/Year Report Emails Sent to Clients if you want to receive copies of all emails sent to your clients regarding Close Periods and Year Reports.
Enter your firm's contact telephone number in the Phone Number field.
Use the Report Heading options to specify whether to include only the client name, only the DBA name, or both in report headings.
Select Print Date and Time if you want to include the date and time a report was run at the foot of printed reports.
Click Upload Logo or Refresh Logo to upload or refresh the firm logo appearing as the header on the cover letters and accountant letters printed with financial statements.
Review and, if necessary, modify the default folder paths identified in the Bills, Invoices, Bank Statements, Reports, and Other fields in the Cloud Cabinet Folder Paths section.
The default folder paths provide a uniform naming structure to apply to all clients, but you can modify these folder assignments as necessary. You can upload data and scanned attachments to the folders in Cloud Cabinet for archiving. And, you can archive reports periodically to Cloud Cabinet and share them with your staff and clients.
Select Auto-Archive Closed Period and Auto-Archive Closed Year if you want to automatically archive closed period report sets and closed year report sets to Cloud Cabinet.
Note: You can also set options to automatically email reports to clients when you close a period or a year from the Company>Preferences screen available from the Setup menu.
Click Save to save your selections.
